We take for granted the ease of having smartphones that can capture a moment and save it to our camera roll, but there is something special about framing a photo and displaying it. Whether it’s an image of a milestone event, a happy vacation candid, or a loved one who is no longer with us, these tangible reminders of what she holds near and dear are priceless. We’re completely smitten with Foliage, one of our newest neighbors in Chestnut Hill. In a short time, Yolanda Palmer has created an oasis for experienced plant moms and novice gardeners alike. Beautifully potted plants join glass container gardens on shelves and tables, with hanging plants above, combined with advice and guidance from Yolanda as well. Follow Foliage on Instagram for the latest updates and happenings, including a paint, prosecco, and plant event the first week in June!
The DIY decorator
Did you know that we absolutely love wreaths here at GSID? It’s true! They’re traditionally a symbol of welcome, and an easy way to celebrate the seasons or add curb appeal to a street-facing door. If the mom on your list likes to create with her hands, the Wreath Workshop box from The Floral Society is a must-have.
