Design details: Favorite wallpapers

It’s no secret that wallpaper is one of our favorite design details!  From powder rooms to dining rooms, we add wallpaper for a touch of elegance or a pop of fun.  This week, we’re sharing some of our favorites and the reasons why they made such a lasting impression on us.  Get ready to pin these to your inspo boards!

Our wallpaper all-stars

Firstly, the black and cream geometric “Minaret” wallpaper in our Rittenhouse Square vestibule will always have our hearts.  The lines make a strong statement, and enhance the lovingly-maintained original architectural details of the space.  Talk about a killer first impression!

On a different note, the graceful circles in our West Chester dining room lend a refined elegance, with the enhanced texture of a paperweave.  Notice how the pattern mimics not only the circular starburst mirror, but also the curved arms of the wall sconces.

For soft sophistication in our Center City home office, we selected a delicate cherry blossom wallpaper.  Inside the space you almost get the feeling of being in a secret garden, with a subtly feminine vibe that steers away from fussy.  (We’ll be revealing the project in an upcoming blog post!)

We also use wallpaper to elevate certain spaces, like the niche bar in our Dresher great room.  By adding the wallpaper to both the sides and the top of the niche, we created a tailored, seamless effect.  We even made certain to line up the pattern on the covered switchplate!  This small detail added a hidden wow factor to the overall design.

Finally, we can’t ignore our fabulous Wyndmoor powder room; this is not only a GSID favorite but a space that has garnered much love on our Instagram feed!  The stylized tigers dancing across the wallpaper make a fun statement above the more traditional painted wainscoting, forming a contrast that highlights the clients’ love of the color blue. Not every gambler is willing to spend a lot of money at a casino site and this is normal. For those of you who wish to try casino games with a low deposit experts from casinomech.net have produced a list of Canadian minimum deposit casinos. People may play at those gambling sites with 10 dollars and claim a bonus.
