Destination-inspired patterns
Vacations are always just a bit too short, but you can be reminded of your favorite places through the use of destination-inspired patterns within your home! We’ve selected four faves that evoke certain places in our hearts, from as far away as the villages of Portugal and as close as the Jersey shore.
Four fun destination-inspired patterns
Avalon
It’s almost impossible to see the cresting waves on the host chairs in our Wyndmoor dining room and not picture the blue waves of the Atlantic Ocean. The stylized design brings to mind childhood vacations “down the shore,” sitting on the jetty and watching the whitecaps foam during high tide.
Key West
If you prefer sunny beaches at the southernmost tip of the US, then look no further than the iconic Hinson Palm design. This banana leaf palm motif dates back to the 1940s, and its classically vintage vibe is still in style. Enjoy a little slice of tropical paradise at home with wallpaper or fabric in one of two colorways.
Portugal
The backsplash in our Malvern kitchen is truly a stunner. Influenced by centuries of Portugese tilemaking, it adds a wow factor to the space while feeling warm and welcoming. With just a glance, one is instantly transported to charming local villages covered in endless examples of beautifully handpainted tiles like these!
Savannah
Savannah encourages you to stroll through its storied parks and squares, and invites you to slow down and savor the Low Country.. With museums, historical homes, and the famed River Walk this sweet Southern city has something for everyone. The painterly Low Country Toile: Savannah wallpaper evokes a sense of softness and grace.
