Fabulous florals

Spring is nearly here in Philadelphia and we’ve got florals on our minds!  This week, we wanted to share some fabulous florals that we’ve used in our projects along with inspo from a couple of our favorite vendors.  Floral patterns are a design staple that fit almost any style, and we love seeing all the different iterations.

One of the things that draws us to these patterns is their boldness; whether it’s a large scale wallcovering or a bright throw pillow, these florals are no shy wallflowers.

In our Wyndmoor family room, bright and happy are keywords.  To add fun contrast, we selected custom throw pillows in an eye-catching poppy tone with blue and white Deco-inspired flowers dancing across them.

If you like a softer, painterly vibe, Romo’s Otelie cushion in Kingfisher is a sophisticated touch.  We love this for a restful guest bedroom or quiet sitting room.

By contrast, our Rittenhouse project was all about making a statement through patterns, textures, and tones.  This spicy floral wallpaper (in the appropriately-named colorway Cinnabar) does just that!

If you love a luxurious floral, look no further than the Magnolia Ice silk and wool rug by Vivienne Westwood for The Rug Company.  It’s absolutely one of our favorites!

Finally, we love this Herbaria pattern from The Romo Group’s Black Edition.  It’s available as both a fabric and a wallcovering, and we’re using the latter in a beautiful full bath for one of our latest clients – we can’t wait to show you the reveal!
