Upgrade your mantle
We recently worked with a Main Line interior design client to renovate their family room, and together chose a reclaimed wooden beam for their new mantle. The tones of the wood are rich and nuanced, adding a lightness to the room. Best of all, it’s a feature with a cool backstory! There is no other mantle exactly like it it, and its tiny imperfections add to its unique look.

Create a focal point
A fireplace makes a beautiful focal point in any space, especially when you choose unique finishes or high-end materials that draw the eye. Another way to style your fireplace-as-focal point is by going floor to ceiling for a wow factor. Philadelphia architect Kate Cleveland designed custom millwork to incorporate this fireplace, mantel, and TV. Its elegance and attention to detail make a beautiful statement!
