Traditional Home Selects Our Gladwyne Project for Holiday Feature

We are so excited we could jump over a 12-foot Christmas tree to share that Traditional Home magazine has included our stately Gladwyne home project in their holiday issue, which is on newsstands now.   And yes, there really is a 12-foot tree, resplendent in holiday finery in the full magazine feature.

It Takes A Christmas Village

It took months of planning and days of home dressing for this article to come to life. The entire GSID team participated. The pros from Traditional Home flew in to capture the spaces, showing the grandeur and also the quiet luxury of a holiday at this home. And the homeowners were marvelous and generous. A big thank you to everyone. We are beyond thrilled and honored.

So, let’s unveil this happy holiday gift!

Your First Look at Gladwyne in the Winter 2023 issue of Traditional Home

Holidays are all about gathering around a beautiful table. While the magazine contains more photos of this refined but cozy space, here’s a sneak peek of just one of them. Can’t you hear the holiday jazz wafting through the house while friends and family mingle and make merry?

Moody and bright, we painted the fireplace dark charcoal and used a complimentary silk wallcovering surrounded by white millwork.

We love to bring holiday dressing to nearly every space. And that’s especially true when you’re able to use sumptuous and understanded greenery, florals and other live elements. Why should the family room have all the fun?

Yes, there were cookies. Lots and lots of cookies prepared, and consumed, as the home was photographed for the magazine.

Our homeowners, the Kachinskes, embrace the holidays with gusto. With three young children and a love of creating lasting family memories, their entire home transforms into a modern interpretation of classic traditions during this season of celebration.

The soaring ceilings allow the homeowners to have a stately Christmas tree without the space feeling crowded. The phlanx of doors and windows floods the family room with light in the daytime, bouncing off the shimmering ornaments. At night, the lights from the tree shine brightly through those same windows, beckoning friends and family to come join the festivities.

While this home is getting its time in the limelight, we truly believe that every project we complete is special and amazing. Every client with whom we work, who shares their dreams and desires, who entrusts us to make dreams come true for their loved ones, is a gift. Every member of the GSID team is a ray of light. And every day is another opportunity for us to make a family happy, which is our ultimate joy.

Thank you and a very happy holiday season to you and yours.
