Lighting the way

We’ve packed away the holiday decor and spring seems far away, so our team got together to share their favorite ways to add lighting to a space!  Chase away the gloom of early dusk with these tips and embrace illumination at home.  You may even find yourself adding some of these to your Pinterest board.

Lighting tips and tricks for the whole home

“Ceiling lighting is key for me, whether we’re talking chandeliers, pendants, or flush mounts. It’s like the jewelry on an outfit. It really completes the space.” – Gillian

“I’m a fan of using floor lamps and table lamps to create a cozy atmosphere.  There’s just something about the warmth of that light.” – Lauren

“Adding a unique or sculptural chandelier to a space is one of my favorite ways to use lighting because it serves two purposes- function and beauty! It not only lights up an entire room but also acts as a key focal point.” – Michelle

“I love a slim pharmacy lamp in a reading nook or in between two chairs.  In small spaces when there’s not a lot of room, it’s an easy and functional way to add additional interest and light.” – Glenna
