We’ve had the pleasure of working on multiple projects for this wonderful family. Our first involved their hall bathroom and the goal was a design that feels timeless while accommodating their children and any guests. With that in mind, we introduced understated but luxe touches, with an emphasis on special details, like the honed marble floor and Carrara marble tub surround with wood paneled front. Next, we designed an airy, welcoming kitchen to double as a “family center.” We started with a neutral palette to brighten the space and layered in textured elements for interest. Each component was thoughtful and useful for this busy family to be able to enjoy.
We continued with a redesign of the dining room and living room. New blue built-ins and a hidden undercounter refrigerator in the dining room add even more storage for special occasion glassware, fine china, serving pieces, and of course, drinks! The adjacent living room is where the family spends a lot of their time, along with their two dogs. We wanted it to be low maintenance and comfortable with polished touches. The result is a welcoming, light-filled space that invites you to grab a seat and stay awhile.
