The halfway point: Our design showroom and studio progress!

We’ve been very busy with our new design showroom and studio, and we’re excited to share the progress with you!  You may remember from our last post that there was quite a bit of construction and renovation going into our new space.  Things have been moving very quickly over the past several weeks, and now we’re halfway there!  Since we took this front door photo, our new front wood windows have now been installed.  The door is scheduled to be painted (can you guess what color?) along with the window trim.  It’s going to be fabulous!

GSID: The design showroom and studio in progress

Our space was originally one large room that had previously been home to a retail location.  In order to create the different areas that we needed – showroom, conference room, and studio – we carefully planned our layout.  We have so much natural light that floods the space, so we wanted to keep these areas open to each other in order to allow that light in.

Claudia from Urban Loft Window Treatments worked her magic and designed the most beautiful window treatments that will allow us to keep that gorgeous light!  Can you tell that we were feeling celebratory about them?

We’ve also been adding the special touches and perfect details that are a hallmark of our brand.  One of the most exciting things about adding a showroom for our Main Line and Philadelphia interior design clients to visit is the chance to showcase our favorite vendors and lines.  We’re looking forward to sharing the final result with you soon.  If you’re in the neighborhood, stop by and say hi!
