Las Vegas Market Recap
We’re back from a whirlwind trip to the winter Las Vegas Market, and we wanted to share a few of the cool things that caught our eye. Check out our roundup to see what’s hot!
Las Vegas Market Winter 2019
Hammered metals
The metal trend is still going strong (and we love it!) with a twist. Hammered metals were everywhere from decor and accents to sinks. The small touch of interest makes a big statement!
Cutouts
One of the coolest trends incorporates cutouts to create an openness to an otherwise solid or bulky piece. Whether it’s a laser-cut metal credenza or an intricately carved marble coffee table, an openwork design adds an unexpected pop.
Blues
We got the blues last fall at High Point – blue tones, that is – and it remains a popular shade. From navy to cobalt to sky, blue is here to stay! We spied it in artwork, lighting, accessories, and furniture. There’s nothing moody about these blues!
Texture
Using texture is one of our favorite ways to level up our designs, as we’ve noted before. Textural elements like shagreen and grasscloth are still very much en vogue. How much do you love the pizzazz of a seagrass-fronted chest in the bedroom?
Which of these trends would you like to use in your space? We can’t choose just one!
