Wow factor: Wallpaper
We pride ourselves on designing spaces that feature elevated elements, and one of the ways we do this is by embracing a particular “wow factor”: wallpaper! With so many patterns, colorways, and styles to choose from, its versatility is unmatched. From entries and powder rooms to dining rooms and home offices, wallpaper adds polished and personalized elements to GSID designs. We love using it to take our clients’ homes to the next level!
Wow moments with wallpaper
First impressions matter, and the striking cream and black wallpaper in our Rittenhouse vestibule makes a big one! The Deco-inspired design enhances the original marble floor and walls in this small but stunning space.
In our Center City home office, we strove to create a sense of serenity. The delicate floral wallpaper adds a “secret garden” vibe where it’s easy to relax and recharge during breaks or days off. Now our client can enjoy cherry blossoms year-round!
Even subtle patterns make a big difference in a room. For our dining room in West Chester, we selected a paperweave wallcovering with a simple circle motif. The curves are echoed in the accent mirror, sconces, chandelier, and even the knobs on the sideboard. The overall effect of the space is relaxed elegance, which provides the perfect setting for hosting lively dinner parties and family holidays!
Of course, we can’t talk about wallpaper’s wow factor without highlighting a GSID fan favorite. Our Wyndmoor powder room, with its chinoiserie-style tigers frolicking across the walls, is one of our most shared and bookmarked images each time we post it to social media! This particular marriage of sophistication and fun makes a statement and proves that any space can be a showstopper.
