Get your home ready for summer living!

Memorial Day weekend is the unofficial start to summer, and we’re giving you some tips to help make the most of the next few months.  Summer living begins now!

Get outside

Whether you have a spacious yard, a shady porch, or a fun roof deck, make the most of being outside.  Uncover the outdoor furniture and add a new outdoor rug or pillows for a refresh.  We’re always fans of bright colors to add a pop!  If you get direct sun and need a non-structural option for shade, consider a cantilevered umbrella. They’re pricey, but can be positioned unobtrusively and are worth the cost.

Elevate your summer living game

Once you get outside and relax, the last thing you want to do is get up and down, right?  Find ways to keep everything you need close at hand and you’ll have more time to enjoy those lazy days.  A sturdy bar cart is ideal for holding drinkware, beverages, and snacks. Whether you have company or you’re just relaxing solo, you’ll appreciate having everything outside where you want it.

For a larger crowd, coolers are important at any outdoor party so that guests can help themselves. Step up your entertaining game with a large teak ice chest for stylish convenience!

Those summer nights

In the summer, the fun doesn’t stop when the sun goes down!  We love watching twilight turn to dark while the fireflies flicker and kids’ laughter fills the air.  There is something so magical about those memory making evenings, and what better way to spend them than around a fire bowl?  With a fire bowl, you level up from the typical fire pit with its wood, embers, and kindling.  Most are fitted to work with either natural gas or propane, and are easy to use.  The bowls come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and finishes, which means you’ll find the perfect one for you!
